Conditions:
To be eligible to win, you must create a playlist on your Spotify account consisting solely of Bon Jovi audio tracks (“Entry Playlist”). The link to the Entry Playlist will then need to be posted on the Blog section of the Spotify website by clicking on the “Leave a Reply” button of the Bon Jovi Newsletter placement, pasting the link to your Entry Playlist in the comment box and submitting it.
The Entry Playlist with the highest number of subscribers as at the Closing Time will win the prize. This will be judged on a country by country basis, so that there will be one winning Entry Playlist in every country.
General:
1. The competition is open to all entrants with a Spotify account, except employees of Universal Music Group International Limited and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, or anyone connected with this Competition.
2. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over, or if the entrants are between 14 and under 18 years of age they must read these Terms and Conditions along with their parent or legal guardian who should explain these Terms to them so that they fully understand them.
3. Entry constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. No purchase is necessary but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local call charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access.
5. Entry is limited to one Entry Playlist per entrant.
6. Universal Music will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Universal Music takes no responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. Further, Universal Music will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant's ability to participate in the competition.
7. Universal Music reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold the prize for violating any of these Terms and Conditions.
8. Opening Time for entries is 09:30 GMT on 15 November 2010.
9. Closing Time for all entries is 13:00 GMT on 22 November 2010.
10. The promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize.
11. The Winners Notification: The winners will be notified by e-mail no later than 31 January 2011. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time on the email address supplied to Universal Music by Spotify as being the email address used to register the Spotify account where the winning Entry Playlist was created, Universal Music reserves the right to select the entrant whose entry Universal Music panel considered to be the next Entry Playlist with the highest number of subscribers.
12. The judges’ decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
14. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you consent to Spotify passing your email address to Universal Music solely for the purpose of notifying the winning Entry Playlist. The winner’s name may be published on the Spotify website.
15. Universal Music reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering the prize) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
16. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit Universal Music’s liability for death or personal injury caused by their employees or agents’ negligence or for fraud.
17. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then they shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
18. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
19. The promoter of this competition is Universal Music Group International Limited, a company registered in England with number 01778189 whose registered office is at 364-366 Kensington High Street, London, W14 8NS, United Kingdom.
